> Indigenous people protested in Buenos Aires against a bill that would open rural land ownership in Argentina to foreign buyers. The measure is associated with Javier Milei’s plan to make the country more open to outside purchasers. Protesters are opposing the proposed change in ownership rules. The dispute centers on foreign control of rural land and Argentina’s land policy.
