> Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal warned that a ship carrying Russian diesel to the United States should turn back or risk violating U.S. sanctions law. The Malta-flagged Agioi Fanendes is reportedly bound for New York with 40,000 metric tons of diesel. Blumenthal says the Trump-Putin deal cannot override the law.
