> Colombia’s government has blamed rebel groups for a truck bomb attack near the border with Venezuela that injured 14 people. The blast occurred less than a week before president-elect Abelardo de la Espriella is scheduled to take office. De la Espriella has said he intends to end the current administration’s peace negotiations with various armed groups. The report describes the bombing amid an impending political transition and a dispute over the country’s peace process.
