> A UN commission of inquiry says Israel committed war crimes and crimes against humanity in the occupied Palestinian territory, including extermination, persecution, torture, rape and other sexual violence, and continues genocidal acts in Gaza. It says conditions in the West Bank have gravely worsened since October 7, 2023, and calls on Israel to end its unlawful occupation, remove settlements and settlers, and return confiscated land.
