> Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei called for Iran's and the regional “resistance front's” rights to be protected by meeting Tehran's conditions for ending the war. He described the situation as “neither war nor peace.” Iran sent the United States a proposal on September 22 offering to end the war and reopen the Strait of Hormuz within seven days if Washington accepted its terms.
