> Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has condemned Giorgia Meloni over the restoration of border controls following the surge in Ceuta. Sánchez described Europe’s response to the crisis as “selfish” and “unlawful.” Italy had suspended Schengen Area free-travel arrangements with Spain in response to the situation. The Spanish leader is demanding an emergency meeting to address the dispute and the broader crisis.
