> The US military said an airstrike on a suspected drug-trafficking vessel in the eastern Pacific on Tuesday killed five people. Media tallies put it among more than 70 such attacks since the start of Donald Trump’s second presidency, with more than 240 deaths overall. The administration has offered no definitive evidence for its trafficking claims; legal experts and rights groups say the strikes could amount to extrajudicial killings.
