> Officials say nearly all migrants who entered Spain’s Ceuta enclave had departed by Saturday. An estimated 60,000 people crossed into Ceuta from neighbouring Morocco over only a few days, while at least 67 died during the attempt. Spain plans to put up a 500-metre containment barrier along the sea border. At the same time, most EU countries have urged emergency discussions in an open letter to the bloc’s interior ministers. Catherine Viette reports.
