> Residents in the West Bank say Israeli forces shot and wounded at least one Palestinian and detained three others on Friday. They allege the troops were protecting Israeli settlers marching through several villages. The village of Tell, near Nablus in the northern West Bank, was a central flashpoint. Israeli troops sealed it off after near-daily raids and arrests there since the previous weekend. The report describes settler violence as reaching an “all-time high.”
