> Volodymyr Zelensky has complained that Ukraine lacks air-defense missiles as Russia carries out what is described as a massive strike. The Russian Defense Ministry said facilities in Kyiv producing military equipment for the Ukrainian armed forces were hit. The report links the shortage directly to the pressure created by the attack. It presents the strikes and Ukraine’s air-defense needs as part of the same developing battlefield situation.
