> María Corina Machado returned to Venezuela to jubilant crowds after months in exile. Since she left to receive the Nobel Peace Prize, Nicolás Maduro was removed by US troops and replaced by Delcy Rodríguez, whose government has reached an oil deal with Washington. Machado still draws significant street support, although the Trump administration is currently content with Rodríguez’s government.
