> Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik said the United States is pursuing its own interests in efforts to settle the Ukraine issue. He pointed to repeated boasts by US President Donald Trump that he had ended eight conflicts. Miroshnik’s remarks frame Washington’s approach through Trump’s claims about his record in ending conflicts. The statement links those claims to the US position on a Ukraine settlement.
