> France’s Les Lycéens student union urged pupils to continue barricading schools and joining street protests until their demands over teacher shortages and dilapidated buildings are met. The government announced class-size limits, a €4bn school-repair loan and changes to university applications, but student representatives said not all demands had been addressed. Mass demonstrations have continued amid arrests, injuries and tighter restrictions.
