> Israelis cannot vote from abroad, and tens of thousands of expatriates are expected to return for the election. At Tel Aviv airport, supporters of opposition figure Gadi Eisenkot are waiting at arrivals. A “Fly and Vote” initiative helps expatriates arrange travel, despite a failed Likud petition to restrict it. With polls forecasting a close contest, every vote may matter, and the outcome will determine the prime minister’s fate.
