> Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva won a fourth term with 51.79% of the vote, overturning Flávio Bolsonaro’s first-round lead. Bolsonaro has refused to accept the result and called for it to be annulled, while the electoral court confirmed Lula’s victory. Lula now faces a divided country and a Congress packed with Bolsonaro allies.
