# Russia says it is working to ensure Alyoshki residents can choose safe evacuation options

> Russian Human Rights Commissioner Yana Lantratova said Russia was doing all it could to let Alyoshki residents in the Kherson Region choose where to evacuate with their safety in mind, and hoped Ukraine would not obstruct the effort. The planned humanitarian operation will assess needs, organize an aid convoy and evacuate those wishing to leave.
