# China completes geological hazard checks near Xizang earthquake epicenter

> China’s Ministry of Natural Resources has finished inspecting potential geological hazard sites within 50 kilometers of the magnitude 7.0 earthquake’s epicenter in Baqen County, Nagqu. Authorities deployed experts and drones and put preventive measures in place at high-risk sites; no deaths or injuries from secondary geological disasters were reported.
