> Bulgarians are voting in a presidential election whose candidates differ over the war in Ukraine and how close the country should be to Moscow. Though largely ceremonial, the presidency can wield powers during political crises, and the vote is seen as a test of Prime Minister Rumen Radev’s popularity. Attacks on ships in the Black Sea have heightened security concerns, while energy prices, inflation and corruption are also key issues.
