> Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said evacuating people from Alyoshki as part of the humanitarian operation may take at least several days. The White House said Russia and Ukraine agreed to a ceasefire there, due to take effect on October 29, 2026, to permit aid deliveries and civilian evacuation through a designated safe passageway.
