> China warned on Thursday that the Middle East conflict should not spill over into the Horn of Africa, which it said must never become a geopolitical arena. In a joint communiqué with Djibouti, both sides called for dialogue to ease regional tensions, respect for freedom of navigation in the Red Sea and Bab el-Mandeb Strait, and lasting peace in Gaza through diplomacy and implementation of the two-state solution.
