> Comcast reportedly plans substantial job cuts in its cable division as it continues to lose residential broadband and TV customers. It said broadband subscribers fell by 144,000 in the third quarter of 2026, compared with a 91,000 decline a year earlier. Co-CEO Mike Cavanagh said fixed wireless was aggressively taking share and fiber construction remained elevated, with some “irrational pricing and promotional activity.”
