> German federal prosecutors say Ukrainian national Vadym Y was arrested in Brandenburg on suspicion of spying for Russia. They allege he had contacted Russian intelligence through an intermediary since at least July 2025 and gathered information on military production, personnel and defence sites. Germany’s military raised the threat level for Russian sabotage against its troops and facilities to “significant.” Moscow denies involvement in sabotage or hybrid attacks.
