> El Salvador’s president, Nayib Bukele, says a military operation is under way in Haiti to rescue four air force personnel missing since Sunday. He warned gangs that Wednesday’s attack would be “nothing” compared with what could follow if the men, whom he said were non-combatants, were not returned alive. The personnel were ambushed in Croix-des-Bouquets; no gang has claimed responsibility.
