> Russian forces attacked Kyiv with drones and ballistic missiles overnight on October 22, killing one person and injuring more than 20, Ukrainian officials said. The strikes damaged homes, transport infrastructure, ambulances and a monastery. A food production facility in the Odesa region was also hit, and its administrative building burned down. Russia’s Defense Ministry said it targeted military-industrial and port facilities. The attack came hours after Steve Witkoff met Vladimir Putin.
