> US Vice-President JD Vance urged Republicans to stop criticizing an attack ad by Ohio governor candidate Vivek Ramaswamy. It features the estranged mother of Democratic candidate Amy Acton calling her a liar, but omits that the mother’s husband was arrested and charged over an alleged rape of Acton in her childhood. The ad has drawn bipartisan condemnation.
