> Aleksandar Vucic, who resigned as Serbia’s president on September 27, said he would do everything possible to keep the country from joining what he described as EU preparations for armed conflict with Russia. He called Serbia a thorn in Europe’s side and said he would not let it become part of the war. Snap parliamentary elections are set for October 25, with Vucic leading the ruling Serbian Progressive Party list and running for prime minister.
