> The death toll from Monday’s drone strike on Amiet market in an area disputed by Sudan and South Sudan has risen to 153 and may be higher. Abyei district authorities said the Sudanese army carried out the attack using multiple munitions. Analyst Jan Pospisil said the army has long portrayed itself internationally as humane while accusing the RSF of atrocities, but that there is little difference between the two.
