> Hainan Daily says cargo flows through the island’s seaports have become significantly more efficient since the Hainan Free Trade Port adopted a new trade and investment regime on December 18, 2025. In January-September 2026, foreign trade rose 49.8% year on year and services trade increased 11.7%. New commercial registrations climbed more than 71%, while import clearance times fell around 20%.
