> Vladimir Putin proposed a meeting of the US, Chinese and Russian leaders during the APEC summit. Donald Trump said he would take part, with denuclearization—not ending the war in Ukraine—as the focus. Beijing has not stated a position, while Ukraine’s foreign minister Andrii Sybiha said such a meeting would inflate Putin’s status and encourage him to continue the war.
