> The Association of Internet Trade Companies has asked Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin for temporary rules covering mass outages in state information systems. Its proposals include allowing retailers to store unsent data and transmit it later, using backup channels, waiving missed-deadline penalties, and temporarily permitting Russian personal data to be processed and stored in “friendly” countries. The letter followed Ukrainian drone strikes on Yandex and Sberbank data centers.
