> Police cracked down on the sixth day of student-led protests in Tirana, where demonstrators demanding Prime Minister Edi Rama’s resignation clashed with riot police. Thousands have rallied over poor university conditions, high tuition fees and corruption. The unrest follows months of protests that began over a controversial resort development linked to US President Donald Trump’s family.
