> Former President Joseph Kabila has joined a new political-military coalition challenging President Felix Tshisekedi. Announced in Goma and led by Kabila, the Front for the Refoundation of the Nation replaces the alliance between the Alliance Fleuve Congo and M23, and calls for resistance by all means, including force. Goma residents fear the realignment will push peace further out of reach.
