> A delegation of European diplomats was attacked by masked Israeli settlers in Taybeh, in the occupied West Bank. Belgium condemned the assault on its consul general and other envoys and called for those responsible to be held accountable. The Israeli military condemned the violence and said it was investigating, while Benjamin Netanyahu’s office questioned accounts of the attack and suggested reports were part of a campaign to smear Israel.
