> Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said China hopes the EU will work with it to foster balanced, sustainable bilateral trade and keep global industrial and supply chains stable. She said recent progress at the second China-EU trade and investment consultation meeting showed the sides could address differences through dialogue, and urged the EU to honor free-trade commitments, follow WTO rules and avoid protectionist or discriminatory measures.
