> The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development says G7 nations will provide 260 million euros to help repair safety infrastructure at the Chornobyl nuclear plant, damaged by a Russian attack. Its New Safe Confinement was severely damaged by a Russian drone in February 2025. Repairs are estimated to cost 500 million euros and must be completed by 2030.
