> Brazil’s Congress approved a constitutional amendment capping the workweek at 40 hours and banning six-day work schedules, a change expected to affect more than 30 million workers. Lula championed the measure, while senator Flávio Bolsonaro, who had opposed it, ultimately voted in favor. The changes will not take effect before the presidential runoff.
