> Two container ships sank near the Strait of Hormuz after being struck by missiles or unidentified projectiles. UK Maritime Trade Operations reported at least five incidents in the area over 48 hours. The rise in attacks suggests Iran may be seeking to close the waterway and frustrate Donald Trump’s efforts to lower fuel prices before the US midterms.
